Jogger fatally hit by vehicle in Travis County
A jogger was hit and killed by a vehicle in western Travis County early Wednesday, Austin-Travis County EMS medics said.
Medics responded to the intersection of Bee Cave Parkway and RM 620 around 5:56 a.m. The area is north of Texas 71 near Hill Country Galleria.
The pedestrian, a man believed to be in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene by Lake Travis Fire Rescue officials, medics said.

2 killed in wreck in Travis County Identified
Two people killed last week in a single-vehicle crash have been identified as 24-yearold Travyh Lamont Avery and 22-year-old Olivia Sanders, Austin police said.
A 911 caller reported on July 3 around 5:49 a.m. that a 2007 Honda Pilot had crashed while going east in the 9600 block of U.S. 290. The area is near Johnny Morris Road, east of U.S. 183.
Avery was driving the Honda, with Sanders as a passenger, when he appeared to lose control of the vehicle, causing it to a hit a guardrail and a concrete pillar, police said.
Avery and Sanders were pronounced dead at the scene at 6:05 a.m.
A child passenger was taken by helicopter to a hospital with injuries that were not expected to be life-threatening.

Police ID woman killed in crash in central Austin
Police on Wednesday identified a woman who died June 25 after her car struck a utility pole on the 2600 block of North Lamar Boulevard as 29-year-old Shelby Bean.
Authorities said preliminary investigations showed that Bean died after her car, a white Subaru Forester, went off the roadway for an unknown reason and hit a utility pole.
Law enforcement officials said police received multiple 911 calls about the incident around 7:13 p.m. June 25.
A person who police said was Bean’s boyfriend was in a nearby vehicle and was seen attempting to help Bean when emergency crews arrived on scene.
Bean died at 7:46 p.m. after being taken to Dell Seton Medical Center by Austin-Travis County EMS, police said.
The incident is still under investigation, police officials said.
Police said the crash was the 40th traffic fatality of the year; the city has had a total of 42 traffic fatalities in 2020, police said.

2 injured after rollover crash in Lake Travis
One person was ejected from a vehicle and another was injured Wednesday afternoon after a rollover crash near Lake Travis, Austin-Travis County EMS officials said.
The crash happened at the intersection of RM 620 and Low Water Crossing Road, just south of the Mansfield Dam. Emergency medical staff received the call around 1:03 p.m., officials said.
EMS tweeted that one person was ejected from their vehicle and was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with serious injuries. Another person was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with potentially serious injuries, medics said.
EMS said a third person was involved in the crash but did not appear to have life-threatening injuries.
