Vehicle hits man on MoPac

Police said a man sustained life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car while trying to cross the 12200 block of MoPac Boulevard (Loop 1) near Parmer Lane about 7:55 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said the man was struck by a northbound two-door Ford sedan. The woman driving the car was not injured, police said. The man was, taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge, police said.
